Why I Built Hearthly
I'm Even, a developer from Norway who spent way too much time watching the dating app market get worse instead of better. More swiping, more superficial judgments, more time wasted on apps that seem designed to keep you scrolling rather than actually finding someone.
Nobody seemed to be doing anything about it. So I thought: maybe I can try.
Hearthly started as a spare-time project with a simple idea: what if we matched people based on who they actually are, not just their photos? What if we helped people have the conversations that really matter — the ones that usually take months to get to — right from the start?
That person you might have swiped "no" to on Tinder? They could be an amazing match for you. You just never got the chance to find out. Hearthly is my attempt to fix that.
